I'd like to take a moments to thank all the TSTers who write fanposts. Turf Show Times is fast becoming the "go to" site for all things St. Louis Rams. In the past, while our amazing list of regular contributors fills the center column of the front page, the fanpost section was more about personal rants, than well thought out and written articles. Over the last six months or so I've seen the Fanpost section morph into, not only a more valued counter part to the front page, but a place where great writing can be found that is on par or better with any SBNation site.
While I realize some of the posts are pounded out on cell phone key pads that make proper syntax a challenge at times, know that the passion of what you write still comes through. When an idea strikes, you somehow work those tiny keypads into a frenzy, recording your thought to share with the TST community.
The posts that have really impressed me are guys like: RAMphetamine, James Goldbleu, RG31, Cameron David Miri (I still can't believe your only 12 years old!), ValdezY, DcRamFan, OakCityRam, papapegusus, JHaier, RAMpage28... If I didn't mention your name, it isn't because your work wasn't worthy of mention. It's because this list of great Fanpost-ers is just so incredibly long!
Your incredible Mock Drafts have made TST a draft destination site for all thing NFL Draft, with visiting readers from across the NFL world. Yes, you "Mock-ly Crew", the varied scenarios you've come up with, making twists and turns in the NFL draft, is actually read by hundreds, if not thousands of readers every week.
The number of TST members grows every day. I have little doubt that it's due in no small part to the passion and thought of your fanposts. Our front page articles get the headlines, but you prove the depth of true Rams fans resolve here at Turf Show Times.
If you find this condescending, please forgive me, but I know I speak for every front page contributor here when I say: We are so damn proud of each and every one of you!

This is an excellent website. To consider it is run by fans, not “experts” or “the league”, shows how astonishing it is. I visit regularly… In quite a few cases, it is actually quicker to find information here than it is on ESPN regarding St. Louis (since the Rams are of the utmost importance to them, clearly).
That being said, the official Rams Website is AWFUL.

Funny thing about being the "go to site"
I found this site last year while in afghanistan lol, the VERY rare occasion I got to email home internet acess was limited to pretty much only gmail. somehow I found this site wasnt blocked. I couldnt register because sbnation was blocked but I wanted to say thanks to everyone for keeping me updated last season, even on non-rams topics.

I too agree this is a great site for Rams news, views, etc. and appreciate all the work the “main” writers do to keep this going. Input from the “others” via fanposts, fanshots and comments is very informative and entertaining also.
I do have one recommendation though. I do not know who keeps up with the left side of this site but getting rid of obsolete links and keeping the roster current and accurate would help.

I, and a bunch of others have mentioned the “left side” of the site quite a few times. I’m not really sure why Avery, Burton, Dockery and Robinson are still on the site, and JL55 brand new site isn’t mentioned?
As far as only the Rec’d fanposts being visible, I saw that earlier and have no idea why that is happening? SBNation may be doing work in that area. I’ll drop a note to 3k and Ryan about it.

obviously, but i like the site and enjoy the fanposts as much and sometimes more than the frontpage articles.
one complaint – and its crazy because its the reason i first came here, is the amount of mock drafts that are done. id prefer to spend more time discussing the merits of one mock then to have 10 different people mocking at the same time without really saying anything new.
also, im still getting used to posting and working the posting options….like what does “actions” do? i thought i could click it to edit a post once and that didnt work. can we edit our posts around here? where is the posting tutorial?

The "action" link is for recommending a comment or flagging it because you find it offensive due to language or if you think it's from someone "spammimg" our site.
You can’t edit comments, so reading them before you post is your best quality option.
If you are talking about editing a fanpost, look next to the title of your post. The small pencil and paper icon will allow you to edit your work as many times as you like. I hope this was helpful?

This is hands down
The best coverage of the rams online. I’m a St. Louisan (living in Brooklyn, NY), who turned to stltoday.com for Rams coverage, but routinely check Turf Show Times for Rams coverage before any other source. I love Bernie, but TST is more informed. Also, perused other SB Nation sites, and truly feel like TST is something special. Better Rams coverage, MUCH better fan dialogue in the fan section. No hate, just good discussion. Looking forward to contributing soon!!

A friend of mine who has love for the Rams like myself sent me to this site a few years ago. I must say that I have never regret it since, and even though I don’t see him often I still thank him till this day for doing so.
Now the reason I like this site so much is for the amount of football knowledge amongst pears. For instance myself I am more of a dline/oline battling in the trenches type of fan as well as defense. Thanks to this place I learn more about the prospects on the offensive side such as Blackmon so to make a long post short I just want to say thanks to everybody.

Got to say, I found this site while looking for articles on the Rams this offseason, and I’ve fallen in love!!! I check back all day during my working hours to see if anything new has been posted.
