I'm not quite sure about the word "heroic" when it comes to sports. The term seems more readily reserved for soldiers serving their country, or firemen and police officers who save lives every day.
There are inspiring moments in sports, some even inspire Hollywood movies commemorating efforts in their "expansive" way. If "heroic" is applied to a player of sport - to me anyway - the definition can't be relegated to a few singular efforts or acts. It's about a body of work serving as proof that the player rose above an implicit challenge. He or she didn't just seize a day, they seized a career; a body of work...
The St. Louis Rams have been blessed with a player that defines "heroic" as it can be applied to sports. In the 2004 NFL Draft, the Rams selected a running back named Steven Rashad Jackson. He was given the jersey number "39", and told to step into the shadow, the legacy, of one of the most powerful offenses in NFL history as it slid into decline. The years that followed Jackson's draft with the 24th pick in the 2004 NFL draft have been marked with teammates moving on, coaches shown the door, and the game of football morphing into a "pass first" world. Throughout Steven Jackson's career, he has excelled in spite of the team around him...

In 2008, Jackson held out for a new contract, as his bargain basement 5 year - $7 million rookie contract wound down. He became the highest paid running back in the NFL at that time, signing a new six year contract in 2008 that at it's maximum could earn him $49.3 million over the life of the contract. The contract included $21 million in guarantees, some of which was covered in a $11.4 million signing bonus.
Steven Jackson has deserved every penny he been paid. The 2011 season for Jackson was marred by a freak injury in the Rams first game of the year. It turned out to be an omen of things to come for the Rams, as player after player fell to injuries that were at time bizarre, if not absurd. (See Cadillac Williams and Bradley Fletcher)
The 2012 season brings with it yet another change in coaching and front office regimes for Jackson and his Rams teammates. It also brings some new fiscal realities too. The Collective Bargaining Agreement signed after the 2011 NFL lockout has redefined player value, and not just for newly drafted players covered by the rookie salary cap. How it will all shake out will be interesting to see, with many seeing the new CBA as a boon for veteran players in free agency. Others are postulating that player value, at or near their career apogee, will be more closely watched than ever before as Salary Cap pressure builds, and ways to aleviate it are sought.
While everyone ruminates over this player or that, the cold hard facts are that in the St. Louis Rams current Salary Cap state, ($10 miliion +- under the CAP) the front office, ownership, and coaches will be examining virtually ever player on the team. They will look at obvious player with behemoth contracts that haven't performed. (see: Jason Smith) They will also be looking at Steven Jackson, and will try to establish some kind of cost to benefit ratio to establish his future or immediate worth.
"8/21/2008: Signed a six-year, $44.805 million contract. The deal contains $20.5 million guaranteed, including an $11.395 million signing bonus. Another $4.495 million is available through incentives. He must average 1,200 yards rushing and 400 yards receiving over the first four years to void the final two seasons on his contract. 2011: $7.2 million, 2012-2013: $7 million (Voidable Years), 2014: Free Agent" - Via RotoWorld and the St. Louis Post Dispatch
The St. Louis Rams new head coach, Jeff Fisher, has a history of being a "Run First" kind of coach. His new offensive coordinator, Brian Schottenheimer, is said to be a "run oriented" guy too. If this were 2006, with Jackson coming off a great season, no one would even think about #39 as a possible fiscal casualty. Personally, I'd be appalled if Steven Jackson's career with the Rams ended based on a "penny here - penny there" mentality.
If you consider the highest paid running backs in the NFL today, Jackson's contract is so reasonable, that it borders on the ridiculous (See: Chris Johnson). Steven Jackson has value that transcends his statistics. His leadership on the team is second to none. If every Rams player had Jackson's work ethic, the St. Louis Rams headquarters would be littered with Lombardi Trophy-s. On a team with few shining lights, Steven Jackson has quietly been a beacon.
On game day at the Edward Jones Dome, as players are introduced, applause fills the air. When Steven Jackson appears through whatever simulated smoke or fireworks the Rams PR people dream up, you see someone that's different. Someone that inspires thoughts of the heroic...

I really hope SJAX gets the chance to play on a great team.
Jackson has definitely earned all of the respect he is given.
David5264 - February 10, 2012
Totally agree. Hopefully the Rams turn things around in time to get him to the Super Bowl
Douglas M - February 10, 2012
:-) Relax! Jackson is not going anywhere
Fisher is a run heavy coach who likes big and strong running backs, Eddie George! 6’3" and 240… Physique fit anyone? Brian Shotty is a guy who loves power runners. Thomas Jones?? I dont think Jackson will get 350 carries this year, but I know he will get 240 carries and another 1000 yard season. 7 Million is nothing for how important Jackson will be to this team this year. Eddie George rarely averaged more than 3.8 yards, which is Jackson’s worst season. Thomas jones another par 4.0 yard career avg had his best years with shotty, and ran almost 1300 yards per season splitting carries. He was 29-31 when he was with the jets, same years as Jackson. I believe Jackson will be around for 3-4 more years. And he will put up some monster numbers.

the guy who’s going to give up 1000 yards receiving for an NFL record 11 seasons
DCRamFan - February 10, 2012
Exactly!
Douglas M - February 10, 2012
I like to think of Jackson as more of a villain than a hero
In the sense that he dishes out fear, pain and anguish at will towards all those that oppose him. BEAST

i love sjax...
this guy not only put up 7 straight 1000 yrd seasons, but all on a shitty team, and beyond all that? not once ever asked for a trade. a true proffesional in every sense of the word. if the rams ever decided to trade sjax, that would e straight up blasphemy! and a slap in the face to jackson. this guy needs to be kept. i will agree, (god forbid) he does ever get traded? its to a contender sjax deserves to play, not only in the playoffs, but in a super bowl as well.
Mark Jaramillo - February 10, 2012
Anyone be willing to listen to trades for SJAX?
and what do you think we could get for him, in terms of a draft pick?
DCRamFan - February 10, 2012
Late 2nd rounder from a RB starved playoff team? Like the Pats or Packers?
And I would be infuriated for months
Joe Mazzi - February 10, 2012
not saying I condone it
absolutely love the guy…..just curious. I agree, there are teams that could definitely use his services. We need to give that guy a damn line, though…
DCRamFan - February 10, 2012
No way in hell
I don’t think that the franchise would want to trade away the ONE recognizable name/person that the Rams have had since the end of the GSOT. Neither would he want to leave now that they have finally started to get their shit together in terms of building a good program. I’m thinking it would be an immediate hang-up if any team called talking about a trade for 39.
willEYEam - February 10, 2012
haha, I hope you're right
man, I’m glad I asked that question……certainly getting some inspired responses
DCRamFan - February 10, 2012
No DC
Even if your just talking. Run first coach and Jackson. Folks he’s not done, And if he ever stops that stutter step at the line and just goes balls to the walls at the hole his yardage will increase. No way fish gets rid him and for what, who’s the replacement?
Mudsharktoo - February 10, 2012
Exactly
willEYEam - February 10, 2012
Hate to get off the subject, but this one was short lived...
Jovan Olafioye has returned to the B.C. Lions after being released by the St. Louis Rams due to a medical concern according to Allan Maki of the Toronto Globe and Mail.
The import offensive lineman, who signed with the Rams a week ago, was released late Thursday. His agent, Dan Vertlieb, issued a statement: "The St. Louis Rams have notified Jovan Olafioye that they have released him from his contract due to their concerns about a medical issue. Given the closing window to explore opportunities in the NFL in Jovan’s current CFL contract, he will return to the B.C. Lions for another season after thoroughly addressing his status."

I wonder what the Medical issue was?

We'll never know due medical privacy laws
But I feel for the dude. He had one shot at the limelight and now its probably shut for good due to his health.

I couldn't agree with you more about SJ39 Douglas but I think there is one discrepancy in your very well done post...
Actually, it’s not really a discrepancy but an over-sight.
If I am not mistaken Steven, who believed in himself so much when he came to the Rams, was not just given the number 39 but he actually selected that Jersey number because he believed he would set records and make history as a running back (I believe he even had a goal of 2000 yards when he became the starting RB) that he wanted a number that no other star RB ever had. Am I right or have I been smoking that funny stuff again?
I truly hope Jackson makes it to setting the most consecutive 1000 yard seasons record but that is currently held by Emmit Smith with 11 but it’s going to be tough for him to get five more seasons.
Go Rams and Go SJax!
Nbr1RamFan - February 10, 2012
lol I have no idea if he asked for #39, but I thank you for raising the issue.
I’m lucky that the phrasing in the post works either way! :-) Now stop smoking the funny stuff… unless you have enough for everybody! lol
Douglas M - February 10, 2012
He did. He wanted 39 because no other RB had it
Midasknight - February 10, 2012
Not to change the subject
but I just heard that Luck and RG3 are going to have the same pro day, March 23rd I believe…….‘why would anyone go to Luck’s pro day?’ was the first thing that came to mind….
DCRamFan - February 10, 2012
"As Luck would have it," Luck's draft stock can't go any higher.
Joe Mazzi - February 10, 2012
He's managed to succeed with loud crowd noise
let’s challenge him with crickets
DCRamFan - February 10, 2012
Why is he even having a pro day
didn’t do enough to show what a screw up he is against USC and Oregon?
LARams1968 - February 10, 2012
I read that both RGIII and Luck are going to be at the Combine? Did I mis-read, and they are only having personal pro-days?
Douglas M - February 10, 2012
I was just replying to DC's post
If he is, why would he? He can only hurt his stock as he’s at the top now.
LARams1968 - February 10, 2012
I'm just wondering who's going to show up
last I heard, he was the Colts starting QB. There are at least half a dozen teams in the RG3 market
If the Colts guy(s) are at RG3’s pro day, I might have a few more questions
DCRamFan - February 10, 2012
Why would Luck have a pro day?
Midasknight - February 10, 2012
thats what I was gettin at...
DCRamFan - February 10, 2012
My favourite SJAX moment was this year’s win over the Saints. I feel like he single-handedly inspired the team for that win, when the coaching staff was unable to get the team going at all.
Jim Everett - February 10, 2012
my sentiments exactly!!!
I loved it when he went off on Jason Smith (I believe it was that game)… The cameras captured it, and you could see the fury in his eyes… SJax wants to WIN… not lay down… He was more of a coach during a game than what Spags seemed to be!
RamsIchor - February 10, 2012
It was Saffold not Smith. Saffold false started and Jackson came unglued on him.
LOVED IT!!
Accountability is awesome.
Midasknight - February 10, 2012
Not necessarily a keep
If we hit a home run with a late round rb, or we are stupid and take Richardson, SJax will be traded
King Sam Rules! - February 10, 2012 via mobile
Gottalove and respect the effort that Steven Jackson puts into a game every time he takes the field...
Like many of you on here, I hope he retires with a successful Rams side, he deserves it. Hopefully, with Jeff Fisher’s gameplan for using the RB position as a catalyst for a winning team, Jackson will continue to provide the leadership and spark when called upon.
It’s such good fortune for the Rams to have had three of the greatest RBs in the last 25+ years (Dickerson, Faulk & Jackson).
JoolzMF - February 10, 2012
SJax is definitely a great one. Thanks for reading!
Douglas M - February 10, 2012

Midasknight - February 10, 2012
Ah crap - I forgot about Trung Candidate!
JoolzMF - February 10, 2012
I hate to admit it, but when he first arrived I thought he may wind up being great. That only lasted a few games though :-)
Douglas M - February 10, 2012
I was just hoping he'd have become a success, so that a guy called "Trung" got into the HOF...
JoolzMF - February 10, 2012
BTW, did I read somewhere that London Fletcher is gonna continue to play, and is going into his 15th season in 2012?
Damn, that guy’s been going forever. He and Grant Wistrom were the two ex-Rams guys that I wished we hadn’t traded from the SB team…
JoolzMF - February 10, 2012

S.J is the only Rams player that we all had good things to say about for the last 6 years or so
Really been the hart of this team i hope he could retire as a Ram but those days are long gone when players were treated that way
Rammon105 - February 11, 2012
I love STJ39
but life in the NFL for a RB is 5.5 years. It would be a good time to get value for him and free up a boat load of money. We must remember. A lot of the future decisions that will certainly be made by Fisher and the future GM are strictly business. Nothing personal. I love STJ39. Beast! Oregon St. Beaver Believer!
fearsomefoursum - February 10, 2012
Nope.....too late
His value to us will never be appreciated any where else. I’ve said it before, I used to drive the ‘trade SJax bus’. But now he’s a lifer and we’re much better off for it. As far as I’m concerned he’s gone past the point of no return. Retire a Ram! JMO
dbcouver - February 10, 2012
If RBs last 5.5 yrs what do you think we are going to get for one whos lasted 8 yrs?
A player who can produce an equivalent of an RB producing 1,000 yrds?
LARams1968 - February 10, 2012
Running backs start declining at...
2000+ attempts. The greats hit 3000ish. Emmitt touched 4000 (ARI doesn’t count).
Boofer - February 10, 2012
The main reason we will never trade SJax
Isn’t because he’s so beloved to the city, hell look at what’s happening to Manning in Indy. It’s because we will never get what we want for him because he’s on the downside of his career and he’s worth more to us then what he woukd be to another team. At most that wed get for him is a 3rd, and that being generous..
RG31 - February 10, 2012 via mobile
Probably true. I'm not sure what his contract says about a trade? If his salary goe too, it may affect Draft choice in trade
Douglas M - February 10, 2012
Would anyone trade SJ39 for a top 10 pick this year?
Don’t get me wrong. Jax is a beast but a top 10…..
jmo53 - February 10, 2012 via Android app
I don't think anyone would.
Douglas M - February 10, 2012
I know we wouldn't get a top 10 pick for him at this stage in his career
but SJ39 for 2-3 more years, or a Floyd, Jeffery, Reiff, Decastro, Richardson for the next 10-15 years…..
jmo53 - February 10, 2012 via Android app
We wouldn't get a 2nd rounder for him
Third rounder would be highly, highly, unlikely. I doubt anyone is gonna fork over a pick on the level that could be used on a decent rookie. Other teams don’t value him, like we do.
dbcouver - February 10, 2012
3rd or even 4th rounder max!
T.Hill - February 10, 2012
Wow
I’d figure he’d get more than this. Just goes to show RB ain’t what it used to be. He is def worth more to us than “them”.
jmo53 - February 10, 2012 via Android app
Have to agree that SJAX is worth more to the Rams then any other team.
Just one of those cases.
RAMpage28 - February 10, 2012
Mike Ditka lol
Rammon105 - February 11, 2012
I think given the choice the FO would have to considerate
But I don’t think they’d do it for the simple fact the draft is a crap shoot and SJax is proven production…
RG31 - February 10, 2012 via mobile
if someone offered a top 10 pick for him
he would not be wearing a Rams uniform next season….
DCRamFan - February 10, 2012
That's an easu question to answer if you reverse the roles
Would you give up a draft pick higher than 3rd or 4th for a 29 year-old RB? Do you think that’s what he’s worth? I say no to both questions all day long. The time to trade Jackson was 2-3 years ago, when we knew we needed to replace Bulger. We should have known it when Spags first arrived but nooooooooooooooooooooooo. Anyways Jackson may have been a commodity then, he’s not now. Except to us.
dbcouver - February 10, 2012
No, and I wasn't implying we trade him
just didn’t realise how much more we value him than other teams. 3rd or 4th? Damn
jmo53 - February 10, 2012 via Android app
I just figured for a first round pick
it would be hard not to trade him. We most likely won’t be winning a Super Bowl with SJ39 so I figured get the young talent while he’s still worth something. Guess a few years ago would have been the time.
jmo53 - February 10, 2012 via Android app
My sentiments for Jackson make me want him to have a superbowl appearance, too.
If he wanted out, I’d support a team decision to trade him for whatever they could get. Lucky for us, he has always indicated he wants to stay. Why? I don’t know, but it’s just another reason to like the guy.
dbcouver - February 10, 2012
I believe he wanted to break all our RB records which he could have should have done.(o-line)
jmo53 - February 11, 2012 via Android app
hey man...
pittsburgh won a super bowl with a over 30 yr old jerome “the bus” bettis, why cant the rams do the same. lol
Mark Jaramillo - February 10, 2012
I believe they had a better team.
We have been a lousy offense to say the least since he’s been here. HOF in my book but he kills Emits record with a better line.
jmo53 - February 11, 2012 via Android app
You just don't do it.
Jackson has been a loyal and very successful RB his whole career. He could easily have gone on to greener pastures but has stuck with the Rams. Trading him would be utterly classless. The Rams should let him remain a Ram as long as he wants. Let him retire a Ram. If his skills degrade to the point where he will no longer be the starter then they should let him know so that he has the opportunity to retire with his dignity intact.
LARams1968 - February 10, 2012
Trade SJ39 - Do him a favor
Our Rams are just awful. Limited talent, seemingly disinterested players, and a decade worth of failure confirm this. And I am a Rams fan. I think the organization made good moves in the coaching area, and hopefully the GM spot as well. But this team will be mediocre at best for the next couple of years at a minimum. Why waste a talent like Jackson in another rebuilding era?
The Rams should trade him for draft pick(s). I am not questioning his ability, desire, or leadership. I have a tremendous amount of respect for him. But let’s face facts. He is approaching 30 (death age for a running back, especially one with his kind of miles), he is seemingly injured for a few games each year, and he deserves a chance to play for a decent team with a real chance of winning for the last few years of his career. This benefits the Rams too. A trade can bring in younger talent to grow with Bradford and the offense. I have to think teams like Green Bay or New Orleans would love to have a power running back to balance excellent passing attacks.
There is not a better time to do it than now. 1. There is a new coach who doesn’t NEED to hold on to the only offensive weapon to possibly save his job (Fisher will have 3 years minimum). 2. Getting a first or second rounder would provide at least 4 picks in the first 66 – even more if they trade out of the #2 spot – a great way to start over. 3. The new NFL rookie salary structure is far more accommodating to teams signing multiple high drafts picks, and 4. It would free up an additional $9m in cap space, to go along with the existing $30m.
I am Steven Jackson fan. I appreciate how much he has done for the team and feel bad about how the Rams have failed him throughout his career. If he had spent his career on a winning team then we may be discussing his chances in Canton. But I am a Rams fan first, and I think, considering his age and the state of the team, that he is worth more in a trade than on the field. So do everyone a favor and trade him.

Joe Mazzi - February 10, 2012
LETS GO PENIS!!!????!!!!
OK now what?
ramdude - February 10, 2012
Now.... I avoid ever being alone in a room with you
Joe Mazzi - February 10, 2012
Just kiddin' dude
Joe Mazzi - February 10, 2012
No worries - nuff said
ramdude - February 10, 2012
Is that your re-hab name?
No more phetamine…
ramdude - February 10, 2012
Those Rams are a dangerous drug
One moment you’re on the high of your life. The next you’re curled up in a ball under the overpass asking yourself where it all went wrong.
Joe Mazzi - February 10, 2012
That's what the VOICES tell me too.
Remember when haslet trimming the hedges at Rams Park was news – that dude’s gonna take us places. Yeah! Right back under the overpass!
ramdude - February 10, 2012
i wouldn't be abit surprised if Fish brings him to the Rams!
T.Hill - February 10, 2012
Talking about Haynesworth.
T.Hill - February 10, 2012
If he'll sign for backup caliber money, I see no problem with it.
The guy has to earn those paychecks from the ground up all over again.
Joe Mazzi - February 10, 2012
I agree!
Can u keep him under control with the money that he has made?? I think Fish can??
T.Hill - February 10, 2012
somehow that dude
is still making over 4mil per season……how in the world does that happen at this point. I need him to sign a Jerious Norwood-like contract
DCRamFan - February 10, 2012
I'd take Albert with an incentive based contract on sacks, tackles, and games played.
Otherwise no thanks.
jmo53 - February 10, 2012 via Android app
i agree fat Albert took the money and laid an egg SJ played his hart out with the worst team in the NFL
Rammon105 - February 11, 2012
We got off of S.Jax.
I’m not saying anything bad about the guy,but If we was going to get anything at all, this would be the time.
T.Hill - February 10, 2012
Aaaaaaaaalright, very funny guys
this is an early April Fools joke………..all these new guys hatin on SJAX can’t be legit. You’ve got to wake up pretty early to get ol DCRamFan! The jig is up, newbies…….or should I say swirbies
DCRamFan - February 10, 2012
Been on awhile DC!
I just think he’s at the end of his road for value. It is the NFL?
T.Hill - February 10, 2012
I was just f'n around
there’s no way not to love that guy, and I’m sure you do too. I hope he’s a Ram for life, but I see how people could go the ‘trade him while the trading’s good’ route
DCRamFan - February 10, 2012
absolutely good man.
T.Hill - February 10, 2012
I don't want to get into a Jackson trade discussion.
I just don’t want to get into a war.
RAMpage28 - February 10, 2012
He just needs some F-in HELP
He could last 3 more years easy if he didn’t always have to carry the load!
ramdude - February 10, 2012
I'd be willing to bet that Fish finds a backup in the draft
Joe Mazzi - February 10, 2012
Haha
Richardson on 2012!
Just kidding, but no seriously, Richardson in 2012!
papapegasus - February 10, 2012
Browns 2 pick trade looks good for this discussion.
papapegasus - February 10, 2012
That is a good topic.
Fish is a 2-back guy . We need to address that!
T.Hill - February 10, 2012
LMJ, Pead, Martin, Polk to name a few
could be had later on and have just as much of an impact. IMO take the other positions of need first and then go RB when one falls to us that we can’t pass on later in the draft. We will most likely trade down and have multiple picks in a round for this.
jmo53 - February 10, 2012 via Android app
Lamar Miller RB Miami FL. position rank #2 5'11'' 212 lbs 4.42 / 40
Jeff drafted C.J because of his speed he might like this kid
Rammon105 - February 11, 2012
If he's STILL able to surpass 1000 yards rushing
given last years circumstances, I have no doubt he can do it for 3 more years if we get him some blocking and receivers who can stretch the field
DCRamFan - February 10, 2012
A different kind of rb, scat-back ??
T.Hill - February 10, 2012
Norwood - NOT!
ramdude - February 10, 2012
Williams?
RAMpage28 - February 10, 2012
If you mean the Caddy, that almost worked.
But he was in the shop too much.
ramdude - February 10, 2012
Busted up caddy didn't do much but watch other teams wreck him.
RAMpage28 - February 10, 2012
tremendous preseason...
if we can just start him mid-season, he could help us win 4 games late in the year before he goes down again
DCRamFan - February 10, 2012
L. James seems to be a consensus pick...
DCRamFan - February 10, 2012
I really like James. Sounds good for a decent pick!
T.Hill - February 10, 2012
Maybe 3rd???
T.Hill - February 10, 2012
I thought LeBron was sewed up in South beach for the next 6-7 years.
dbcouver - February 10, 2012
Broke- dick!
T.Hill - February 10, 2012
Norwood i mean.
T.Hill - February 10, 2012
Isn't it like every offseason this debate comes up?
RG31 - February 10, 2012
and EVENTUALLY we'll get it right!
Joe Mazzi - February 10, 2012
Lol and what side might you be on?
RG31 - February 10, 2012
What for?
Joe Mazzi - February 10, 2012
To trade or not to trade SJax
RG31 - February 10, 2012
Hell no.
Except for 2 top 10 picks. Then I’d think about it.
Joe Mazzi - February 10, 2012
Were you talking about my signature when you first replied?
RG31 - February 10, 2012
haha I was not
Joe Mazzi - February 10, 2012
Alright because I was confused as hell..
RG31 - February 10, 2012
I'd trade him to the Texans for a 5th
And Arian Foster
DCRamFan - February 10, 2012
I'd trade to the Vikes for AD and a 4th..
RG31 - February 10, 2012
Adrian Deterson?
DCRamFan - February 10, 2012
Haha that's his nickname, but I'm sure you're fuckin around..
RG31 - February 10, 2012
mm hmmm
I had already lined up a ‘All Day? Not familiar…. Is he as good as Adrian Deterson’
….thanks for ruining that for me
DCRamFan - February 10, 2012
I think he's one of the most important players to his team
Besides Manning to Indy, Rice to Baltimore and SJax to us..
RG31 - February 10, 2012
Justin King to the NFC West
Joe Mazzi - February 10, 2012
Justin King to the Pro Bowl.
You heard it here first.
RAMpage28 - February 10, 2012
You Guru You
ramdude - February 10, 2012
Mel Kiper calls me and asks for my mock drafts.
That’s how much of a guru I am. Not one of those shitty love guru’s but one that is always right and some what entertaining.
RAMpage28 - February 10, 2012
Love how you talked about Adrian being so important to the Vikings
but totally ignored DC talking about how you ruined his joke.
RAMpage28 - February 10, 2012
completely unapologetic!
DCRamFan - February 10, 2012
Haha, he'll get over it...
RG31 - February 10, 2012
I don't know... He's one for being spiteful..
Joe Mazzi - February 10, 2012

….still here. Ya know, seein all this…
DCRamFan - February 10, 2012

Everyone act calm, act normal!
RG31 - February 10, 2012

RAMpage28 - February 10, 2012

RG31 - February 10, 2012

DCRamFan - February 10, 2012

It's an epidemic
I gots da feva!
DCRamFan - February 10, 2012
I can see things so clearly now...
we will not get Vincent/Desean Jackson
we will not get Cortland Finnegan
we will draft a douche with the #2 pick
we will go 1-15 this season
DCRamFan - February 10, 2012
1-15 is a bit generous don't ya think?
RAMpage28 - February 10, 2012
I'm not as advanced

DCRamFan - February 10, 2012

DCRamFan - February 10, 2012
This level of dispair can not be described in mere words
ramdude - February 10, 2012
I remember that day
It was back in October 1963. I was only 3 years old. I could barely even say football. Sure my diaper could have been full but it was the 52-10 pasting that the Bears were laying on my beloved Rams that had me in tears. The whole season just sucked, really. Except for the 2 wins against the niners there wasn’t much to cheer about that year.
LARams1968 - February 10, 2012
Cool story bro.
RAMpage28 - February 10, 2012
You know, we once had a 20 advantage in head to head games against the niners
LARams1968 - February 10, 2012
20 game
LARams1968 - February 10, 2012
Yeah then shit happened.
RAMpage28 - February 10, 2012
Yeah like 30 years of underachieving
LARams1968 - February 10, 2012
And depression set in.
RAMpage28 - February 10, 2012
NEVER!!
Mark Jaramillo - February 10, 2012
SJ might be traveling on a Rascal by then, but we'll get it sooner or later
ramdude - February 10, 2012

ramdude - February 10, 2012

Ramzman18 - February 10, 2012 via mobile
I saw, amongst other teams, that Tennesse has a date with Stanford Routt
think that spells the end of Finnegan as a Titan? More importantly, does he want to play for Fisher?
DCRamFan - February 10, 2012
Tear the pillars down!
Joe Mazzi - February 10, 2012
Yeah - Tear Down the Wall of SHAME
ramdude - February 10, 2012
ramdude - February 10, 2012
great, great album
or any Floyd album, for that matter
….sorry if I missed the point
DCRamFan - February 10, 2012
Tear down the wall?
In response to Jmazziphetamine saying tear down the pillows. My first try didn’t take.
ramdude - February 11, 2012
Titans, Chiefs, Bills, Vikings, and Cowboys are all interested in him.
I do think this could be a sign of the Titans dumping Finnegan.
RAMpage28 - February 10, 2012
Maybe Howie43 can post some pics
L. McCutcheon, Dickerson, Bettis, the baddest M.F.er ever, M. Faulk, S. Jackson this franchise has had some of the greatest RBs ever. Keep STJ39. Maybe he can be the FO guy I wish M. Faulk would have been. Unfortunately, ESPN will eat him up. Too colorful. Too smart.
fearsomefoursum - February 11, 2012
He's also the Rams Director/Player Personnel
ramdude - February 11, 2012
In action
ramdude - February 11, 2012
