over 1 year ago: LOS ANGELES CA - FEBRUARY 01: Tim Leiweke President and CEO of AEG during an event announcing naming rights for the new football stadium Farmers Field at Los Angeles Convention Center on February 1 2011 in Los Angeles California. Jeff Fisher is at Rams Park today, getting an inside look at the team ready to make him a big offer to be their next head coach. He even met with quarterback Sam Bradford, and by all accounts, he's leaning toward singing on with the St. Louis Rams. But there's a hang up. Fisher apparently wants more assurances about the team's long-term plans for which American city they'll call home.
According to Jim Thomas at the Post-Dispatch, Fisher has concerns about the team relocating to Los Angeles and the disruption that causes.
Fisher knows a thing or two about a franchise relocating. He started as a head coach in the NFL with the Houston Oilers. Then Bud Adams moved the team when they couldn't get a new stadium to Tennessee. During that span, Fisher and the team struggled, going 8-8 in two seasons after relocating. That relocation found Fisher trying to run his team from a collection of FEMA-like trailers at training camp, not the kind of situation coaches like to deal with in their efforts to field a winner.
Fisher's visit is wrapping up at the moment, and whether or not his concerns about geography were addressed remains to be seen.
Just what kind of assurances Fisher received from Stan Kroenke will also be of interest to Rams fans. It's hard to tell their future plans, but gestures by the Rams bode well for a long term future in St. Louis. The team has gone to great lengths to expand their footprint in the community, doing everything from charity work to buying up tickets to prevent a blackout. They have a February rendezvous with the city's Convention and Visitor's Bureau to talk about plans for an upgrade to the Edward Jones Dome.
Kroenke made his billions in real estate, suburban strip malls anchored by Wal Mart stores. He understands that the real money in NFL ownership is in owning the building, and his best chances for that are in Missouri.
Stay tuned.

Nothing to argue about
Stan said he was staying in saying louis
Ram_Redemption - January 8, 2012 via mobile
There was also that article at Bleacher Report
where Demoff spoke to lengths about how they’re very committed to staying in the Lou.
FailureDrill - January 8, 2012 via Android app
Yea but you and I technically qualify qualify as bleacher report writers
Cause we can read and write
Ram_Redemption - January 8, 2012 via mobile
I'd rec that if I was able to.
FailureDrill - January 8, 2012 via Android app
Lol thats ok
The truth needs no recs
Ram_Redemption - January 8, 2012 via mobile
Are you saying that bleacher report writers are of poor quality?
Blasphamy!
RAMpage28 - January 8, 2012
Lol in sorry but half their ptofile pictures
Throw me off to the entire article

Does this also make you a USC Graduate student?

Anyone who has an intelligent thought:
Who do you see as OC candidates if we get Fisher and hopefully Gregg Williams
King Sam Rules! - January 8, 2012 via mobile
Seems like Fisher will come to the Lou
but the Fins can make one last ridiculous money offer to try and change Jeff’s mind
Brick Top - January 8, 2012
They're not moving. f*** LA
LA is almost as bad as SF for me when it comes to sports. Niners, Giants and Dodgers can all go to hell.
sergey606 - January 8, 2012
If ur not USC or the Lakers
The fan bases in LA suck
King Sam Rules! - January 8, 2012 via mobile
oh thanks for the reminder, fuck USC too
sergey606 - January 8, 2012
Hatinnnnnn'
douchiedude - January 8, 2012
Really?
As a fan of the Rams since the the mid 70’s, I have to disagree. I thinks it’s funny you say the fan bases in LA suck when there are a lot of people who live in the LA area who happen to still be Rams fans….myself included. Not only that, but the Angels happened to draw well over 3 million fans for the 8th consecutive season. That number will only increase now that a former Cardinals player is now playing here.
GoRamsandAngels - January 9, 2012
On a related note,
and this is nothing against Angel fans, but that aforementioned former Cardinals player is, in fact, a whore.
Any Cardinal “fan” that decides to stop cheering for St. Louis in lieu of him leaving can hit the road as well.
Long Live Stan Musial.
FailureDrill - January 9, 2012 via Android app
I understand
When Georgia Frontiere upped and moved the Rams to St. Louis, I called her every name in the book. Until the day she died I considered her a whore, but I have still remained a loyal fan of the Rams. I doubt Pujols decision will sway the loyal Cardinals fans either.
GoRamsandAngels - January 9, 2012 via mobile
No it won't because we know we will still win another WS before that bitch named Pujols
Brick Top - January 9, 2012
I am not putting down the Cardinals or their fans
why the hate on the Angels? They weren’t terribly far out of first last year and they have put a couple of nice pieces in place to help them contend. I happen to think the Angels have a good shot at the World Series…especially with Wilson added to an already decent rotation.
GoRamsandAngels - January 9, 2012 via mobile
No hate here.
I actually like the Halos. I don’t blame them for throwing that much cash out there- Steinbrenner has done it for years. The hate lies with Albert and his “it’s not about the money” preaching during that whole thing.
Between Weaver and Wilson, your rotation alone is pretty nasty. Need a good bullpen to get through the playoffs, as we’ve all learned.
FailureDrill - January 9, 2012 via Android app
I didn't think you were putting the Angels down.
I was actually referring to Brick Tops’ comment. I took his comment as stating Pujols has no chance to win another ring anytime soon. That would reflect upon his team not having a chance which I strongly disagree with.
As far as the bullpen goes, I am a bit concerned…won’t lie. Hawkins might be a nice addition, but I would still like to see somebody like Madson added.
Go Rams!
GoRamsandAngels - January 10, 2012
I would rec'd this if i was at a computer..
Fuck the niners, giants and rodgers! I would cap their names but I don’t even acknowledge them!
RG31 - January 8, 2012 via mobile
good, i'm glad someone hates those stupid teams too
SF just has it out for me. Rams have the 49ers, DBacks have the Giants, OSU has Cal (close enough)
sergey606 - January 8, 2012
did you just say dbacks vs giants...
nobody cares about the fuckin dbacks, its giants dodgers bro. dbacks are gay.
navybluenachos33 - January 9, 2012
Oh cool. A Pac-12 bottom-feeder.
Even if you take our National Championship in 04 our of the equation, we still have TWICE as many NATIONAL championships as oregon state has CONFERENCE titles. Your only Heisman winner went to USC Law School after his failed bust career with the Rams.
If it weren’t for Steven Jackson, I’d question your presence/relevance in USC’s conference. Our 2012 schedule shows me you’re lucky to dodge the bullets Matt Barkley deals out next season, unless you somehow manage to win the North and visit us in the Pac-12 Title game. Something tells me it’s not likely, but I hope you do so we can give you an epic ass-whoopin’ like Oregon did to the ucla clowns.
Fight On!
TrojanRam - January 8, 2012
Well now
how do you really feel? hehehe
dbcouver - January 9, 2012
So if Eli were to make another miracle run
He would have twice as many rings as his brother, who might be done for. How?!?!??!
King Sam Rules! - January 8, 2012 via mobile
Why god? WHY!
RAMpage28 - January 8, 2012
Would Eli become the favorite if he wins it?
And does he become one of the best 1st picks? He would have 2 rings, which is as many as Elway
King Sam Rules! - January 8, 2012 via mobile
That would thrpw all the "more rings means better" people for a damn loop..
RG31 - January 8, 2012 via mobile
Well when he plays like he can
You see exactly why he was worth a 1st pick
King Sam Rules! - January 8, 2012 via mobile
Yeah, would it break that idea and finally put Marino on top?
King Sam Rules! - January 8, 2012 via mobile
Probably not
Rings still should play a big factor..
RG31 - January 8, 2012 via mobile
Brady IMO
Puts up the amazing numbers, wins at like a shit crazy higher percentage than anyone, and has 3 rings with maybe more to come
King Sam Rules! - January 8, 2012 via mobile
Yea Montana said himself that Brady will be the best ever
By the end of his career..
RG31 - January 8, 2012 via mobile
I'll take Marino personally for my franchise
But I think public perception will be Brady
King Sam Rules! - January 8, 2012 via mobile
Why??
Wins and championships happen because of great teams, not great individual players.
Brick Top - January 8, 2012
Exactly, the best individual performing qb is Marino
But people always say its all on the qb (not a horrendous defense) if they dont win a super bowl
King Sam Rules! - January 8, 2012 via mobile
True
But more times than not you can’t get there without a great qb. It’s just the way its looked at but I agree with you.
RG31 - January 8, 2012 via mobile
I always hate when people say MJ is the best basketball player, which I also agree with,
but their logic is that he won 6 championships and that’s it!! By that logic, Bill Russel must be the best player ever because he won 11!!
Brick Top - January 8, 2012
Also true
I would have liked to see him in person play, Jordan is the definition of clutch..
RG31 - January 8, 2012 via mobile
Jordan was completely and utterly dominant and he won
Imo the top two are Jordan and Kobe.
King Sam Rules! - January 8, 2012 via mobile
I'm just not high on Kobe, he might be in my top 10, but just barely
many players better than him
Brick Top - January 8, 2012
Only thing I hate about Kobe is he shoots too much..
RG31 - January 8, 2012 via mobile
well he is a
shooting guard, but idk, I don’t watch the Lakers much
Brick Top - January 8, 2012
Yea but he can pass the ball from time to time..
RG31 - January 8, 2012 via mobile
Kobe put the time in to master every facet of the game
Cause he wants to be just like mike. Once he’s gone, it will be a bunch of guys who are only able to do things cause of their athleticism
King Sam Rules! - January 8, 2012 via mobile
If Lebron had the determination of Kobe
That player would blow Jordan out the water..
RG31 - January 8, 2012 via mobile
If Lebron had his body to go with Kobe's game
Amd will, then yes.
King Sam Rules! - January 8, 2012 via mobile
He'd be the greatest at his sport
than anyone ever was. Thank god he doesn’t.
douchiedude - January 8, 2012
Yea that would be something else indeed
RG31 - January 8, 2012 via mobile
The best ever is still Moss with Rice's work ethic
King Sam Rules! - January 8, 2012 via mobile
true

but I did have to pick last in every round
Brick Top - January 8, 2012
Jordan shot too much.
douchiedude - January 8, 2012
He also went 72-10
King Sam Rules! - January 8, 2012 via mobile
I never said it's a bad thing,
I’m just saying that people forget that Jordan was criticized for shooting too much. That all stopped when he won his title.
douchiedude - January 8, 2012
first*
douchiedude - January 8, 2012
Yhis is a CLASSIC Argument!
Is it just me or funny how the TRIANGLE offense always goes throgh Jordan and/or Bryant Hence Phill Collins looks like a smart coach.
Da Rookie - January 8, 2012
Thanx Tex Winter
he was the offensive guru for both.
Da Rookie - January 8, 2012
It's not like he wasn't lol.
douchiedude - January 8, 2012
Kobe played in the triangle with Shaq and Gasol
Tje triangle is designed to be based on big men. Jordan never played with a post player like them, and so he was the defacto focus of the offense. I think if you put Kobe in the Jordan Bulls, it’s almost exactly the same, only a small drop off. At the least we can say this: Kobe has copied Jordan completely, and once he is gone, no one will be left who plays the game the way it should be
King Sam Rules! - January 8, 2012 via mobile
Kobe barely top ten?
…
Ok. I’ve had this argument ad nauseum. Just by resume alone, he’s already top 5, and that’s probably unfair. Number 2 in my book.
TrojanRam - January 8, 2012
My brother is a colt fan
I hate eli but I would love this
Ram_Redemption - January 8, 2012 via mobile
I kinda love Eli
Cause he is a prototype qb. Has an amazing arm, can see the field great, great at escaping when the pocket collapses. All that though is when he plays to his ability, which he has this year. Any chance that not having Peyton to live up to this year is part of that?
King Sam Rules! - January 8, 2012 via mobile
He will never be good enough
Because of who his bro is..
RG31 - January 8, 2012 via mobile
I'm seriously wondering, is he playing this well cause he doesn't have Peyton breathing down his neck this year
King Sam Rules! - January 8, 2012 via mobile
If peyton was here
He might have outplayed him and got more credit
Ram_Redemption - January 8, 2012 via mobile
Like beating head against a wall
isn’t it? It does feel so good when you stop. 4,3,2,1
Da Rookie - January 8, 2012
Eli does his best/his team does better when Peyton isn't playing
Peyton didn’t reach the AFC championship the year Eli won, and Eli proceeded to win against the Favre Packers and Brady Patriots. When Peyton isn’t around for people to compare Eli to, he plays better cause he doesn’t have to measure up to big brother.
King Sam Rules! - January 8, 2012 via mobile
Well scratch off th Giants as a Spag landing point
Looks like Eagles alone…
Da Rookie - January 8, 2012
Crazy thought but
What if we had a superbowl rematch, Pats vs Giants?
RG31 - January 8, 2012 via mobile
I'd pick the Giants I think
No Peyton around to freak out Eli and Cruz would defile the daughters of everyone in the Pats secondary at this point
King Sam Rules! - January 8, 2012 via mobile
Id actually say the Pats
Brady would be looking for revenge and Eli didn’t win that superbowl, that defense did. If it happens, Brady gets his revenge, gets his 4th ring and has ESPN go nuts about Brady vs Montana..
RG31 - January 8, 2012 via mobile
No, I think the Giants would get to Brady again
And Eli is playing out of his mind this year. Eli against Pats defense > Brady vs against a good playing Giants defense. Again, I’m now convinced its a younger brother thing is what has kept Eli back and now that Peyton isn’t around he has come out of his shell
King Sam Rules! - January 8, 2012 via mobile
Have to agree to disagree
Imo no way Brady gets outplayed by Eli again.
RG31 - January 8, 2012 via mobile
Yeah, agree to disagree
The Pats defense is just sooooooooo bad IMO
King Sam Rules! - January 8, 2012 via mobile
Yea I just dont see the Giants outscoring the Pats..
RG31 - January 8, 2012 via mobile
The Pats D is really Really bad nm
nm
Da Rookie - January 8, 2012
Agreed
But with the weapons Brady has they should be able to keep up in points.
RG31 - January 8, 2012 via mobile
Whatever, we will have to see
Personally I want Green Bay vs Patriots. No defense at ALL and 500 points a piece.
King Sam Rules! - January 8, 2012 via mobile
Haha even better
Plus I think that’s what the media wants.
Possibly the best qb ever vs the best qb now (even though I think that’s still Brady).
RG31 - January 8, 2012 via mobile
Hey, at least I don't have to beg my girl to let me watch the playoffs since the Rams season is over
King Sam Rules! - January 8, 2012 via mobile
Thanks Van for showing me that sweet perk
King Sam Rules! - January 8, 2012 via mobile
I'm hoping for Brees and Brady.
I don’t think the Packers can beat the Saints right now.
douchiedude - January 8, 2012
Haha lots of points would be scored
If you love defense that probably not your game to watch..
RG31 - January 8, 2012 via mobile
I just like a good game,
whether it’s 17-14 or 37-34. Just not a 9-6 failfest lol.
douchiedude - January 8, 2012

9-6 OT

Keep thinking the team wont leave. Keep taking them for granted. You never know what a businessman is thinking, say one thing and do another…you people know nothing about LA so please stop acting as if you do. I know you’re all a little worried, so you lash out at LA fans. Remember, real fans follow their team wherever they go….just like the TST article about McDaniels says " you can always go home"

Da Rookie - January 8, 2012
Why would the Dodgers leave?
There are buyers from LA natives lining up all over the place.
douchiedude - January 8, 2012
So in other words,
no, we won’t be lucky. It’d be just as expected…
douchiedude - January 8, 2012
Okay lets go down this street
A cheating husband , whore of a wife MLB taking over.,California in Bankruptcy, Cali cant even get water yet alone pay for a NEW state of the art stadium. Why do not you guys focus on keeping the NFL Chargers at home? Teams are moving out of CALI not into a Bankrupt state,
Da Rookie - January 8, 2012
Chargers are trying to move to....Los Angeles.
And it’s not like the Dodgers are trying to build a new stadium where they’d need the fund from their city, where the hell are you getting that from? If the Torre/Caruso team wins the bid for the Dodgers, they’ll have no problem fixing everything up. MLB aren’t taking over the team like they did the Red Sox (and we saw how that worked out… A WS title). I don’t live in California and I do not care for the Chargers at all, so no thank you.
douchiedude - January 8, 2012
You do not really believe that do you?
So the L.A. Charges will be playing games in the renovated Rosebowl? Diego is using LA as a bargaining chip.
Da Rookie - January 8, 2012
Again,
what happens with the Chargers are the least of my worries. That’s why I’m a regular on TST and not whatever the hell the Chargers site is. I care for the Dodgers, and they’re not going anywhere.
douchiedude - January 8, 2012
I agree with that about Dodgers
I think a point was made though. Now Look at it from my point. Every tme there is a coach change the RAM, i have to deal with ALL the people Rams are moving. I SAINT LOUIS BILLIONAIRE married to the Wal_Mart fortune and you still think it is coming back? Here is agreat idea “GET OVER IT”:
Da Rookie - January 8, 2012
I really don't care where the Rams are.
I personally would love to see them back in LA but obviously, I still love them in STL. And if it means Fisher signs a 10 year contract here, keep the Rams in STL for the next 10+ years.
douchiedude - January 8, 2012
Bless Bro
It just gets old. Sorry I did not mean to launch at you.

douchiedude - January 8, 2012
So you love the Minnisota Lakers?
Big Minnesota fan are you.?
Da Rookie - January 8, 2012
Became a Rams' fan when I first started loving football in 1999.
They were in St. Louis as I recall. If they moved to Los Angeles, I’d be thrilled. It’s my home. It’s all I know. But I don’t need them here to support and love the team since I’ve never needed it before.
TrojanRam - January 8, 2012
1999 ?
1999 Great time to be a Rams fan huh! before that Tony Banks and Dog Felony. I still shudder….
Da Rookie - January 8, 2012
Nah actually LA Lakers.
My grandfather’s from Vegas and that’s where my dad grew up, so he was a fan of Lakers, Dodgers, and LA Rams. Unfortunately, I never really got to watch the Rams in LA because I was 3 when they left, but those are my teams since I could walk and talk.
douchiedude - January 8, 2012
Cleveland Rams and Brooklyn Dodgers too
LARams1968 - January 8, 2012
Good attitude.
None of us really have any say as to where the Rams locate. We can choose to follow them or not for our own reasons.
I have no problem with someone from LA supporting the team in StL. I do get ticked with people that think since they have been Rams fans longer they are somehow truer fans or that they have dibs on the team. In the Midwest we tend to have a much stronger sense of community than those on the west and we tend to cheer for the city/region and not purely for the team. Neither approach to loyalty is wrong or right.
Any way you slice it moving a team sucks and even if your interest are improved by a move it’s in poor taste to openly and outwardly bertate a community in jeopardy of losing it’s team. It’s also wrong to constantly put down an entire area with baseless insults.
The best thing that could happen is for Kronke to publicly state his intention to keep the Rams in St Louis and for the community to commit to helping Stan with a new stadium when it’s the right time for one.
Sggladden - January 8, 2012
St. Louis fans at least the ones that show up to the EJD
are about the flattest crowd i’ve ever heard. I really hate that we don’t have a bunch of fiercely loyal, rabid fans like the Raiders, browns, Seattle, Etc. even in down times, they cheer like the end of days and believe that their team is one player away from the playoffs. This whole scene just wreaks of mediocracy. I cant stand it. The team is soft, the four pillars is soft, the crowds are soft, Spags and Devaney were soft. Its about time the Rams start creating a sense of urgency, get a bad taste in their mouth and get a bad attitude. Now i dont mean i want to be the Detroit Lions, but this is football, the Rams play with no heart and thats why they are 2-14, thats why this regime is gone, thats why everyone wants to move the fuckin franchise. Its just stale. People want to change everything about the rams because they are a boring fuckin team. the only thing i like about the Rams right now is their uniform, cuz its the same one ive been rooting for the past 20 years. I hope Fisher can change it, or LA can change it, anything but whats goin on right now
Lexxi - January 8, 2012
I like the blue and gold from LA and into the Super Bowl season :p
Yeah it’s the same thing with USC. The Coliseum is really dull when they’re average, but when they’re good… Man, this year’s Stanford-USC environment was unbelievable. Wish I could go to a game.
douchiedude - January 8, 2012
Back when there was a competitive team to root for,
like 10 years ago (jesus, it’s depressing to write that), the EJ Dome was mind blowingly loud.
People are going to find better ways to spend their Sundays when the team on the field is miserable. St. Louis, LA, pretty much wherever. Places like Green Bay are few and far between.
FailureDrill - January 8, 2012 via Android app
Nah I don't judge a fan if they jump on from a bandwagon
or if they become one because they move to their city, as long as they love their team. It’s how I became a USC fan, I jumped on that Leinart bandwagon and I’ve never looked back. Hell, probably a bigger fan since I moved out to Vegas than I was when they were winning BCS bowl games year after year. I have a huge respect for Cardinals fans, actually. Really passionate and nice. My best friend with me in Vegas is a Cardinals fan, definitely was rooting for them.
douchiedude - January 8, 2012
And yeah I agree, no need to put down other teams from that area,
which is the only reason I jumped into this conversation. Hate seeing the Lakers and Dodgers being dragged into stuff like this, especially when they’re negative comments.
douchiedude - January 8, 2012
I beg to differ on the "follow your team no matter where they go"
Fuck LA. Ask all those Supersonic fans if they love the thunder. The answer is no.
sergey606 - January 8, 2012 via mobile
That's like a completely new franchise though lol.
That Rams are still the Rams. There are still Colts fans in Baltimore lol.
douchiedude - January 8, 2012
Yeah and that's why when the Colts play in BAlt
they say the Indy Professional Football team. Won’t even say the name. They hate they Colts in Baltimore.
Brick Top - January 8, 2012
Same players same FO in KC as was in Seattle
Its like saying the Oilers and Titans are completely different teams
sergey606 - January 8, 2012 via mobile
I realize
that they’re the same franchise, but it’s as if they wanted nothing to do with being the Sonics and wanted to start fresh, not like the Rams or the Hornets moving cities.
douchiedude - January 8, 2012
Oilers stayed the same..Texans replaced them
But the Sonics really fucked-up (the owner anyway) cause they lost the entire fan base after saying “we won’t move!” then moving.
sergey606 - January 8, 2012
That's messed up lol.
I was a fan of the Payton/Kemp/Hawkins SuperSonics.

Who said it was personal? I just re-aimed what you said back at you.
My feelings can’t be hurt by garbage PAC-12 bottom-feeders like Oregon State. I can’t believe S-Jax actually came from that lowlife institution/state.
Oregon is trash.
TrojanRam - January 8, 2012
Cause I'm saying it about the city you live in, not you...but now I am: fuck you.
Didn’t know the giant city of Corvallis would make you so mad, with their powerhouse program.
Plus isn’t UCLA in the same city too?
And yes, UO is trash. Even though, you know, they’ve won the PAC10/12 3 years in a row now.
sergey606 - January 8, 2012
Ditto Corvallis. You have no basis for calling my city trash.
I’ll reiterate that I am not bothered by Oregon State garbage, much less mad.
ucla is in Westwood. That’s a suburb of Los Angeles that isn’t akin to the blood, sweat, and tears of urban Los Angeles. It’s closer to the Hollywood image so many people mistakenly have of this place.
Didn’t stop us from ending their 20+ game home-winning streak did it? :D
TrojanRam - January 8, 2012
I'm not from Corvallis so I don't care
but every time I’m there, I love it. One of the best college towns.
The hollywood image and all the rich snobby people is the reason for my LA “hatred”. The only knock I have on STL (besides the crime) is how shitty people drive there. Seriously, it was awful. Switching 3 lanes at once to make an exit at the last second when they’ve had 2+ miles to do so.
sergey606 - January 8, 2012
Yeah, well I hate that image too.
But the other 6 million people don’t live like that and have to go to work 8-5 or more like any other blue-collar city.
I’m willing to admit I know nothing of Corvallis, but you obviously lack knowledge of Los Angeles, or you generalize idiotically.
TrojanRam - January 8, 2012
well it's easy to generalize when your city is on TV all day giving you that image - can't blame anyone.
sergey606 - January 8, 2012
I can see that it's easy to generalize.
But that doesn’t make it right.
TrojanRam - January 8, 2012
Also for a bottom-feeder
This isn’t too bad.
Neither is this.
I’ll talk to you in 2013.
sergey606 - January 8, 2012
The world ends in 2012
Do not you read or watch the Mayan history channel?
Da Rookie - January 8, 2012
I remember those. Any team can have a bad day.
But you compare our all time record, we have a 59-11-4 record against Oregon State.
Not to mention a 70%+ All-Time record against this conference. It should be renamed after us.
Fight On.
TrojanRam - January 8, 2012
well considering SC is basically LA's pro team...
Southern california is one of the top recruiting places in the nation, that’s why teams want to play UCLA or USC. Easier to recruit when they’re all in your back yard.
Since I’m a Beavers and Rams fans games like those are basically what you root for – just a complete underdog taking out the powerhouse, love it.
Next year’s civil war game? I can dream.
sergey606 - January 8, 2012
I have no problem with that. I root for the Rams after all. I can root for a losing team quite well.
Just know that ucla is the Clippers of this town, and they don’t have a Blake Griffin in sight.
I hope you knock off Oregon, we’ll soften them up for you at the Coliseum.
TrojanRam - January 8, 2012
well soften them up but don't piss them off
I would go to the game, but looks like I’ll be spending my money flying to STL
sergey606 - January 8, 2012
sergey...youre comments are begining to be moronic
“USC is LAs pro team” is ignorant.

really
You do realize their are still a lot Southern CA Rams here. Same for Raiders. When I went to the Rams and Chargers game a few years ago It was almost half full of Rams fans. We still cringe on Sunday just like St. Louis fans. Do we want the Rams to come back to LA in the new Billion dollar stadium they will build. Hell yeah. Better than getting the Jaguars or Chargers. Difference is the Supersonics were there for over 40 years and nobody else to route for really. In the end, almost no owner is really going to turn down the deal to LA unless they get a better offer to stay. Right now its just a waiting game for St. Louis, SD, Jacksonville, and anybody else ending their stadium deals to force those cities to pony up either a better stadium retrofit whatever.
RJM473 - January 8, 2012
No one to cheer for?
Seahawks, UW, shit the blazers are down the road.
You’re just acting almost bitter that they left. I’ve met plenty of LA Rams fans, in Reno most recently and I know there are plenty out there, but probably more in MO. You know, it’s where they won a ring.

He needs to have that friend of his and his wife
proof his posts before he hits enter. Yet another person that spells “bowl” with an “e”.
You know, Sergey, for all the doom-and-gloom bitching this guy does around here, I have yet to see him contribute to a conversation with a suggestion. Fisher is a punk for making demands (which is a hilarious statement), yet this dude offers no alternative scenario.
I’d be right half the time if I spouted off the negative possible outcome for everything, too. A broken watch is right twice a day, too.
FailureDrill - January 9, 2012 via Android app
No kidding man
All he says is “haha, I told you it wouldn’t work!!” but in caps. Never have I seen him make a logical, suggestive, easy to read post
