Agree on the retiring thing, but I really don't think he'd leave Indy.

Sure there’s problems there and he’s acknowledging there’s problems there, but he seems like the type of guy who’s embraced his community. Might be wrong but I don’t see him moving. Personally hope he retires though. One of the greatest, don’t wanna see him get paralyzed on the field.

If he has a full bill of health from the doc and he can play, I say play. Still a top 3 Qb in the league no matter if its in indy. I think he stays thought because he built that place. Plus he could be useful if Luck isn’t ready.

The one thing missing from Seattle this last season was a leader at QB. Peyton can hit every corner of the field, so Baldwin and Tate would be scary too

We’re not playoff ready anyways. Carroll and the Seahawks would just be doing the exact same thing that Whisenhunt and the Cards did with Warner. Sure they’d dominate for a year or two, but once Manning leaves the building, what happens? Maybe Derek Anderson will be available again in 2014?

Unless he gets a call from San Fran, NYJ, Baltimore or any other Super Bowl qualified team, I think any team would be crazy to set themselves up for failure 2 years down the road, since it seems to be inconceivable in today’s NFL to have an aging franchise QB while grooming his predecessor at the same time. Teams just cut players loose and move on.

What about Aaron Rodgers?

I’m not sure how much tutelage Farve provided but it worked out pretty good for Green Bay. I think that Irsay will talk to Manning and then cut him loose and draft Luck. Manning won’t make the 2-14 Colts a playoff contender, or will he?

but if you are, thank you. I’m only considering doing it because I exactly been the type of student I can be, and at this point, with my ACT scores and a G.E.D. I can get into the same colleges that I would get into if I just stayed in school through my graduating year (2013).

I’m all for people improving themselves. I’m 52 and still go to college sometimes. I get a feeling of satisfaction from it even if I’m not educating myself for a new career.

I’m kinda worried that I put that on here, because I don’t want people questioning my intelligence (as some of my friends have) because of the whole G.E.D. thing. I figure if I can get started in college (I’ll likely be going to the same college I would have gone to upon graduation, Ohio University) early, then that will be better for me than sitting in a school that I don’t like for the next year and a half. Not that you care lol I’m just explaining my reasoning behind this decision so other people on here don’t think less of my opinions or anything.

I almost thought of going to Ohio university because of their great sport management program

but Illinois has a great one and I love the Illini. Here’s to hoping you get in and don’t worry what others think about your intelligence. Laugh when you get that degree buddy!!
