NFL Draft season is heating up. On Monday, the Senior Bowl starts. It's a week-long affair where draft boards get altered every year as prospects make up for bad seasons or injuries. We'll have complete coverage. For now, we've got another 2012 NFL Mock Draft to look at, this one from Russ Lande over at the Sporting News.
Lande goes a familiar direction for the Rams with the second pick. Citing their long-time need to add playmakers, especially wide receivers, he mocks none other than Oklahoma State wide receiver Justin Blackmon to the Rams with the second pick.
We've been saying that the Rams will likely trade this pick to the Browns, who would take Robert Griffin III. But if the Rams keep the second pick, they will draft Blackmon to give Sam Bradford an elite receiver.
Will the Browns trade up with the Rams? Maybe. Mel Kiper said on Thursday that they are interested in adding RG3. But the Browns are more known for trading down and adding picks in recent years than surrendering picks and moving up in the draft.
If the Browns aren't interested, the Dolphins or the Redskins might be.
Some other notes about Lande's mock draft:

I think that many WRs being picked in the 1st round is absurd...
…based on the fact none are equated in any way with talent levels of A.J. Green and Julio Jones. To me, all but Blackmon are 2nd round talent at best. Just my opinion…
Douglas M - January 20, 2012
Only WR's I think have a chance at being first round picks besides Blackmon are Floyd and Jeffery.
RAMpage28 - January 20, 2012
I'd take either at pick #33
hopefully one of them falls to the second round.
jmo53 - January 20, 2012 via Android app
Floyd seems like a slug to me.
Hope we don’t draft him.
Sggladden - January 20, 2012
if by slug you mean slow
he’s actually got decent speed
Josh Wehrle - January 21, 2012
For who a Slug?
SMASH44 - January 22, 2012
I think Floyd and Jeffery both actually have higher ceilings than Blackmon
I fail to see why everyone is all on Blackmon’s jock, except for the fact that he produced great numbers at a college with a closeish geographical location to the majority of the fan base
Josh Wehrle - January 20, 2012
Because we need a wr to grow with Sam
Lloyd has a few more years of being affective and he’s practically a quick fix for this team. Blackmon (no matter how you feel about him) has elite potential in many peoples eyes. You will of course argue this but Kalil or Blackmon would be fine with me..
RG31 - January 20, 2012 via mobile
I think Blackmon is going to be like Hakeem Nicks
a great player, but I wouldn’t spend a top ten pick on him
Josh Wehrle - January 20, 2012
I think the salary cap
Allows for teams to pick who they want without the fear if overpaying them. I think if our FO feel good about blackmon then they should pick him..
RG31 - January 20, 2012 via mobile
If they truly feel that good about him than I guess go ahead and pick him
My point is that there’s just a lot of better players on the board, and it’s not like receiver is our only need.
Josh Wehrle - January 20, 2012
But it's a pretty big one.
RAMpage28 - January 20, 2012
I can agree with that
but I think DT and every position along the OL are also pretty big needs, not to mention OLB
Josh Wehrle - January 20, 2012
Agreed but WR isn't very deep in this draft from what I understand but they are plentiful in the FA
DT can wait till round two and OL is a huge concern.
RAMpage28 - January 20, 2012
no WR is VERY deep in this draft
just no elite (top 3 or 5 at the position) prospects
Josh Wehrle - January 20, 2012
Blackmon at 4 isn't a big loss but at two is insane and I would take Kalil at two
RAMpage28 - January 20, 2012
I kind of agree
I would still rather see Claiborne (lockdown corner) over Blackmon
Josh Wehrle - January 20, 2012
If Fisher gets Finnegan to come over here then CB would be less of an issue.
Finnegan, Bartell, and Fletcher seems good to me. Then again you can never have enough CB’s and we proved that this year.
RAMpage28 - January 20, 2012
Finnegan would be great
but then I would still prefer David DeCastro over Blackmon lol
Josh Wehrle - January 20, 2012
Who would have to be off the board for you to take Blackmon?
RAMpage28 - January 20, 2012
Kalil Decastro RG3 Luck Claiborne trading down and maybe even Trent Richardson
Josh Wehrle - January 20, 2012
I would pick Blackmon over Trent but that's just me.
RAMpage28 - January 20, 2012
yeah it's a toss-up for me right now
I’d probably go with Blackmon though
Josh Wehrle - January 20, 2012
I can understand the Richardson pick but
first rounder on a RB in today’s NFL is becoming more and more taboo
RAMpage28 - January 20, 2012
agreed
Josh Wehrle - January 20, 2012
My kingdom for a playmaker.
Blackmon gets my vote.
Pekka for Predator Pontiff - January 20, 2012
Sorry I'm with Buckeye on this one
No WR is as affective a player for our offense as the left tackle that is Kalil. With our O-line improved we may not even need a WR. Without improvements on the O-line, and no, they’re aren’t coming in free agency, we could have Fitz, Green, Jones, and Megatron and it won’t matter. My vote whole heartedly has to go to Kalil.
dbcouver - January 20, 2012
Well, like I said I wouldn't be upset if we took Kalil.
But I’m still going with an elite playmaker as our #1 need.
Pekka for Predator Pontiff - January 20, 2012
Yup we need a receiver that is a playmaker...
maybe even two. At first glance I’d say Blackmon is the best choice. Of course if we are certain he isn’t the guy then I suppose I’d understand picking Kali but I just think you are better off spreading outthe money across the entire OL instead of spending a lot on one guy taken at the front of the draft. I’d say Blackmon or trade down an if we can do both the booya!
Sggladden - January 20, 2012
Trading down has to be the first option
It’s criminal that that is still the case after 3 drafts of the same thing, but it is. Picking Kalil isn’t the only O-line pick up we need but his position is the only one we can’t get in FA.
Again I’d only pick him if a trade down wasn’t doable.
dbcouver - January 20, 2012
It would be awsome if we got Kalil and Decastro but highly unlikely.
jmo53 - January 20, 2012 via Android app
True
They think hard about it and consider all possibilities..
RG31 - January 20, 2012 via mobile
Your wrong
fearsomefoursum - January 21, 2012
nice response
Josh Wehrle - January 21, 2012
closeish geographical location???
R U NUTS???? 600 miles closeish>>>Really! Tashkent Uzbekistan is closer to Kabul Afghanistan!!! Bunch of Muslim extremist fans in Tashkent because of closeish geographical location to kabul…. Where do you come up with this crap? I think a majority of Ram fans are infact Missouri fans. We(REAL RAM FANS) like Blackmon cause he is a Weapon of Mass Destruction! it is clear you are a Laurinaitis fan. But are you really a Ram fan. Cause you ain’t from Oklahoma City or Kabul….I think you want Blackmon for the Browns. And who quotes Jesus outside a church. Must be your closeish geographical location to Denver.
fearsomefoursum - January 21, 2012
YEAH DUDE I'M SO FUCKING NUTS
Closeish geographical location = same conference = more airtime in Missouri. Don’t see how the whole muslim extremeist thing is relevant, maybe you should have picked something that pertains to sports to argue your point. Yeah dude all REAL RAM FANS totally agree with you that Blackmon is a WMD and that he is obviously the pick, except oh wait, no they fucking don’t. Yes I’m a Laurinaitis fan, he went to the college team I like, so I was obviously ecstatic when we drafted him. I find it funny that you’re questioning if I’m I real rams fan just because I don’t live in St. Louis, and I don’t think that Justin Blackmon ( a man who you as a rams fan have no ties to, other than he plays in the same conference as the local college football team) is going to be the receiver that he’s cracked up to be. Yes I would like it if the Browns took Blackmon, becuase that would mean that we didn’t. Also, that quote is from an onion article, Jesus obiously didn’t say that. Lots of people quote Jesus outside of church, including the obvious answer, Tim Tebow. Just because I’m not christian doesn’t mean I’m not allowed to quote Jesus if I want to, this is a free fucking country. Also, how about we don’t bring politics on here ever again and you are never, ever alllowed to question if I’m a rams fan or not because you have proven to me time and time again that you don’t exactly possess a ton of football knowledge, so you resort to petty insults like “R U NUTS????” to prove your point. Have a nice day.
Josh Wehrle - January 21, 2012
Well that means
Lots of people here have actually seen him play
DiscoJer - January 21, 2012
I've seen more of Justin Blackmon
than the majority of people on this site
Josh Wehrle - January 21, 2012
If broyles hadnt gotten injured
He’d be a late first round pick..
RG31 - January 20, 2012 via mobile
I'll take a receiver in the second (Floyd, Jeffery, Jones, etc)
and Broyles please
Josh Wehrle - January 20, 2012
IMO Floyd and Alshon dont make it that far
And after seeing Jones in his bowl game, I don’t want him anywhere near a rams uni. If broyles checks out he’s a steal 4 or 5th round pick.
RG31 - January 20, 2012 via mobile
I don't either
but we also didn’t think JL would be there, so anything can happen. I don’t think that because Jones had one bad game, that means we should just drop him off our draft radar.
Josh Wehrle - January 20, 2012
True depends on the needs of the other teams
RG31 - January 20, 2012 via mobile
I'd be happy as hell if Kendall Wright dropped to the second
Speed + hands, something we need
TheBirds - January 20, 2012
some people are comparing him to Steve Smith
I think he lands somewhere between Smith and Lee Evans (bills version)
Josh Wehrle - January 20, 2012
Which Bills version?
RAMpage28 - January 20, 2012
the good one
Josh Wehrle - January 20, 2012
Gotcha.
RAMpage28 - January 20, 2012
I like Wright too, he has a very fluid movement about him.
He has nice body control and some real good hands. I want to see his 40 times & leaping ability, just to see, cause what I see on vid I have no concerns. My only fault is his poor blocking. Something I think he can be coached on to improve.
RamsFan1979 - January 21, 2012
i like broyles but i dont know how he would find much playing time if we drafted him
he would join the 3 other receivers on our team who are “quicker than fast” (Amendola, Salas, Pettis)
waggs07 - January 20, 2012
Hey Pettis hit the curb.
RAMpage28 - January 20, 2012
I want to get rid of Pettis
and Amendola and Salas both had injuries. Plus I think Broyles can play on the outside some, and I think his upside is Wes Welkerish
Josh Wehrle - January 20, 2012
true
i think salas has potential and the only reason i would want to keep pettis around is because he was a 3rd round pick, i hate that we picked him there
waggs07 - January 20, 2012
me too
I still wish we had Marvin Austin and Mason Foster on the team instead of Kendricks and Pettis
Josh Wehrle - January 20, 2012
i like kendricks on the team
but not as much as I would like torrey smith on the team
waggs07 - January 20, 2012
I think the only good game Smith had was against us
the only thing he has going for him is speed, although I guess we could use that too lol
Josh Wehrle - January 20, 2012
He did catch a game winner against Pittsburgh to help the Ravens win the AFC north and Sweep the steelers.
RAMpage28 - January 20, 2012
I did forget about that lol good point
Josh Wehrle - January 20, 2012
thats the part i like about him haha
he can just burn cornerbacks
waggs07 - January 20, 2012
he's only a threat if you have the other corners occupied though
cause you pretty much know he’s going downfield every play
Josh Wehrle - January 20, 2012
remember hes only a rookie though
if he improves on every aspect of being a receiver and not just a burner, he could be a steal for the ravens
waggs07 - January 20, 2012
right
I’m just saying he’s a better fit there than he is here
Josh Wehrle - January 20, 2012
unfortunately
we will never know haha
waggs07 - January 20, 2012
Yes because speed is bad.
Man if he went to oakland…
RAMpage28 - January 20, 2012
Agree with Douglas M and RAMpage28....on Wr's.
Also,
why take Blackman at #2,
if you could get him at 3 or 4?
Makes sense to trade down for Blackman and get extra picks.
Then I can start having Nightmares for Not picking Kalil.
Go Rams!
look closer - January 20, 2012
Agreed. If I can get Blackmon and a bunch of picks why not?
RAMpage28 - January 20, 2012
if we have our hearts set on drafting Blackmon I agree
Say we traded with the Brown,
There is no way Blackmon gets picked above Kalil, and the 2 QBs. So we should in this case take whatever the Browns offer us.
TheBirds - January 20, 2012
No doubt.
RAMpage28 - January 20, 2012
Can believe a team would be crazy enough to pick Dwight Jones over Kendall Wright
TheBirds - January 20, 2012
I was hoping Floyd would slip into the 2nd round
since he had those DUI’s & maturity issue, but he did a good job of keeping clean this season so there go my hopes
EddieP - January 20, 2012
Fo real? Dwight Jones? Screw that guy and his oven mitts for hands
People are worried that Jefferey will be like Williams and turn out a bust for the most part. If he keeps in shape, he’ll be a great RZ threat. If he’s there in the second, teams would be stupid to pass him up
sergey606 - January 20, 2012 via mobile
lol Jones showed good hands until the bowl game
which sucks because that’s the only one everyone watched lol now I’m gonna be crucified every time I mention him as a legitimate option
Josh Wehrle - January 20, 2012
how I know a wr has bad hands is if their highlights are riddled with chest catches
I don’t know if you can tell good things about a players hands, but if in a highlight the guy doesn’t ever extend his hands on what should be his flashiest plays you know something is wrong.
TheBirds - January 20, 2012
He might not have the best hands
but they are certainly better than what he showed in the bowl game
Josh Wehrle - January 20, 2012
Going into the bowl game the biggest knock on him was his body catches and not relying on hands
He pretty much proved people right
sergey606 - January 20, 2012 via mobile
okay but it's not like he's going to have 3 drops every game lol
Josh Wehrle - January 20, 2012
If he's a ram he will!
sergey606 - January 20, 2012 via mobile
Ouch.
The truth hurts….
thisguy - January 21, 2012
yeah it does
Josh Wehrle - January 21, 2012
okay you win lol
Josh Wehrle - January 21, 2012
He's not making it to the second
And I agree about Jones, I’ve never seen anyone be more overrated because of their size
TheBirds - January 20, 2012
If Jefferey is there in the second he's worth taking a shot on just because of his upside.
If we spent a first on him I would be concerned.
RAMpage28 - January 20, 2012
or happy because we traded w/ the Browns for their 2 #1s
TheBirds - January 20, 2012
+1
jmo53 - January 20, 2012 via Android app
If no trade down
take Kalil at #2 and hope Floyd/Jeffrey fall to the second.
jmo53 - January 20, 2012 via Android app
So... I had a dream
That the 2013 episode of Americas game, features Jeff Fisher, Sam Bradford, and JL. Should I set my dvr?
indyramsfan - January 20, 2012 via mobile
Speaking of JL
I think Luke Kuechly could drop the second (just like JL) and would be a good addition to the LB corps. Any thoughts?
Josh Wehrle - January 20, 2012
Sure no prob.
RAMpage28 - January 20, 2012
Put him in a OLB and then we might have an actual LB corps.
RAMpage28 - January 20, 2012
that's what I'm thinking
although we would need an athletic will to help compensate for the limited speed and athleticism of Kuechly and Laurinaitis
Josh Wehrle - January 20, 2012
Zac Diles?
RAMpage28 - January 20, 2012
hahaha
I was thinking more along the lines of someone like Sean Spence, but maybe a little bigger
Josh Wehrle - January 20, 2012
Don't see it happening
But if it did, that would be one hell of a pick! Still makes me mad the Rams FO didn’t sign Herzlich. There was little risk involved with signing him and he started for the Giants this year when Boley went down! Damn FO!
mcihaelT - January 20, 2012
If Blackmon isn't as good as Julio Jones or AJ Green then why is there talk of us taking him at the no.2 spot..?
Besides – the opinion of most on here is that Kalil is a better (and more needed) choice.
Is Blackmon that much better than the other WRs in the draft? Is he actually worthy of being a no.2 pick?
JoolzMF - January 20, 2012 via mobile
no sir I don't think he is
Josh Wehrle - January 20, 2012
No he isn't
And michael floyd just might be the best in this draft
Ram_Redemption - January 20, 2012 via mobile
Hmm
Blackmon>Julio
Green>Blackmon
But that doesn’t matter, if we need wr that bad and they feel good about Blackmon, take him. Especially if Lloyd does leave..
RG31 - January 20, 2012 via mobile
If Lloyd leaves it makes the problem at WR just that much bigger.
RAMpage28 - January 20, 2012
My point exactly
At the end of the day comparisons don’t matter. Hell who would have though Brady would be as great as he is? It’s go with who you want and take them..
RG31 - January 20, 2012 via mobile
unless you're Billy Devaney
then don’t take who you want lol
Josh Wehrle - January 20, 2012
Yea
Then go with opposite of who you want haha
RG31 - January 20, 2012 via mobile
He uses Reverse Psychology on him self.
RAMpage28 - January 20, 2012
I really want to get mason foster right here..... Austin Pettis it is.
RAMpage28 - January 20, 2012
RIGHT!!
That might be the dumbest move of the Rams 2011 draft!
mcihaelT - January 20, 2012
Doesn't mean you face to take blackmon
When your obviously cutting smith or making him a backup.jeff fuller is a dam goods receiver. Get him in the 3rd. Take kalil
Ram_Redemption - January 20, 2012 via mobile
Im not the HC
So I don’t know what he’s going to do. Which ever one he feels better about will be a ram (captain obvious I know). I woukd be cool with Blackmon or Kalil, fuller doesn’t impress me..
RG31 - January 20, 2012 via mobile
Awe man fuller is a bawse
Wat don’t you like?
Ram_Redemption - January 20, 2012 via mobile
Seems slow
And he didn’t meet my expectations, I think the combine will be good for him, could be a second round pick..
RG31 - January 20, 2012 via mobile
They all slo lmao
best route runner in this draft.how we can steel him in round three. And he is huge. He runs about a 4.52
Ram_Redemption - January 20, 2012 via mobile
What did AJ Green do that Blackmon hasn't?
Just wondering cause everyone is all over Blackmon for not being an elite prospect. Did AJ win the Biletnikoff? No. Did he ever win it twice? No. His 40 time was only 4.5 (good, not great), he had a 34.5" vertical again, nothing special.
Why did he go first in the draft? Cause he’s got great hands and runs great routes. He’s strong on the ball. Just like Blackmon. Fuck the three inches, I’ll take his productivity any day of the week. He is every bit as good as AJ Green. Only difference is the extra three inches but IMO Blackmon plays bigger than 6’1".
Just sayin’.
Pekka for Predator Pontiff - January 20, 2012
With that said, I don't mind us taking Kalil either.
I just don’t agree that Blackmon isn’t an elite prospect, cause he is.
Not talking to you RG, just everyone.
Pekka for Predator Pontiff - January 20, 2012
I agree with you, i think he is elite
But doesn’t have some of the intangibles that Green did coming out..
RG31 - January 20, 2012 via mobile
Like?
Productivity? Scoring? Big plays? Not having a single game with less than 7 catches last year (if I recall correctly)?
He’s got everything Green’s got except the three inches. But he’s a more productive WR and more of a playmaker.
Again, just sayin’.
Pekka for Predator Pontiff - January 21, 2012
I too agree, choosing Kalils no slam to Blackmon
Blackmon will have a probowl career for sure. He will be everything he’s projected to be.
dbcouver - January 20, 2012
that's the problem
what’s he projected to be? Becuse people are saying he’s going to be like a Fitzgerald or Calvin Johnson, and I completely disagree.
Josh Wehrle - January 21, 2012
Nobody said that...
RG31 - January 21, 2012 via mobile
some people have
not you though
Josh Wehrle - January 21, 2012
Oh ok
Well they went overboard, I think he will be great but he doesn’t have the athletics or intangibles that they have, I think he could be elite given his dedication and skillset..
RG31 - January 21, 2012 via mobile
How come you disagree?
Pekka for Predator Pontiff - January 21, 2012
lack of focus, top end speed, and the offense he played in is why he put up those stats
put Floyd on that team and the stats are nearly identical
Josh Wehrle - January 21, 2012
Believe it when I see it.
He’s awesome, that’s my story and I’m sticking to it…lol.
Pekka for Predator Pontiff - January 22, 2012
Yes, he is.
Pekka for Predator Pontiff - January 20, 2012
Just shows you how over hyped receiver is
Criner and jones first round?
Ram_Redemption - January 20, 2012 via mobile
Compensation
It would be a potentially good move for The Rams to move down and attain more picks. The questions are: Hpw far down are they willing to slide; what compensation would justify trading down, and what players will likely fall to that spot.
I could not see going less than the 6th selection in the 1st round unless the offer was too good to pass on. My guess is there are teams that are more willing to go with a talent like RGIII and be willing to to pay a premium price.
Miami has young talented players A combination of players and picks: Vontae Davis and Brandon Marshall; The Dolphins 9th pick in the 1st round; in addition to their 2nd and 3rd round picks for 2012 and a 2nd rounder for 2013 would IMO justify trading the second overall pick.
ValdezY - January 20, 2012
this would set us up for a great offseason
I’d be very happy with that trade.
jmo53 - January 20, 2012 via Android app
Me To
It would give veteran help at two critical need positions, and allow The Rams to focus on other key areas of need in the draft.
ValdezY - January 20, 2012
Great Trade!
But no NFL front office would be that stupid…I’d swap 1st round picks with Miami for Brandon Marshall, a 2nd rounder and a 2nd rounder next year…Resign Lloyd, and pick up DeCastro at #9, or Richardson…..What about that lineup….Marshall, Lloyd, Amendola, and Salas/Pettis with S Jax or Trent Richardson……..WOW!
poonjabbers2010 - January 21, 2012
If the Rams FO is as high as Blackmon as many here are...
Couldn’t it be justified to trade with CLE for only the 2 1st round picks?
mcihaelT - January 20, 2012
I Think The Rams
Have to look at all offers for that pick. I would like for The Rams to take Blackmon; but I would not want to close off other possibilties which would include a considerable compensation package for that #2 overall pick.
ValdezY - January 20, 2012
yea but I would want more than that for RG3, and think they can get more than just that.
jpcisco - January 20, 2012
I agree
The FO must take the best deal, but I also worry about getting too greedy. My only point is that IF the FO ends up deciding that they really want Blackmon, CLE has to be the trade partner and anything after the 2 1st rounders is simply gravy. I’ve seen too many people thinking that the Rams have to get the 2012 1st rd, 2nd rd, 3rd rd and 2013 1st rd and 2nd picks as fair compensation. CLE will never do that, nor should they. If the Rams get a player they really want—and need—and a few more picks as well, I think the FO will have done well.
mcihaelT - January 20, 2012
agree I wouldnt get too greedy...
we would only be moving down 2 spots. Granted alot of teams would kill for the number 2 pick, but honestly I would be happy with Cleveland’s 2 first round picks.
jpcisco - January 20, 2012
I think the reason the Browns have been stockpiling picks is for a situation like this..
where they can trade some of those picks for a player they really want and not be hurt as bad. I think with Philbin going to Miami Matt Flynn will join him. I think Flynn will want to go with his OC which means the Redskins,Browns, and Seahawks have a need for QB. The only team with the ammo to acquire the Rams 2nd pick would be the Browns imo. I would be the happiest fan on the planet if we can make a trade with the Browns. They get RG3 the QB of the future and we can drop just 2 spots and still get a guy we want plus add multiple future picks. If Fisher plays this well he could honestly build a solid team through this years draft with the extra picks. Cleveland just makes the most sense to me if Flynn follows Philbin to Miami.
jpcisco - January 20, 2012
WalterFootball
This site predicts that Peyton Manning will go to Washington or possibly NY Jets. The prediction is that the Browns trade into the 2 slot and the Rams draft Blackmon at #4. He has Zach Brown going to the Rams with the first pick of Round #2.
Mister T - January 20, 2012
Id love for that to happen.
But who do they have us taking at 22 then?
Tampa_Ram - January 21, 2012
nvm
went and looked. he doesnt explain what we get in return beside switching #2 and #4. so basically in his mock we just switch 2 and 4 in the 1st. doesnt really make sense.
Tampa_Ram - January 21, 2012
Plus we have 22
read the 3rd section…Brockers, Fletcher Cox, Cordy Glenn or Zach Brown. Not enough picks IMO, but at least the 22 pick he suggests good picks for us, except for Glenn.

Douglas M - January 20, 2012
Garrett Lindholm
UDFA….look him up on YouTube….I really didn’t like Josh Brown
RAMSALLTHEWAY - January 20, 2012 via mobile
Is the top TE in this class worth a look at pick #33?
I know many people wouldn’t like this choice but I read somewhere Kendricks was one of the top blockers this year and has potential at catching(imo). Add a speedy pass catching TE and there’s a great weapon for Sam. Not as “sexy” a pick as WR but this could help a lot. I realise we’ve drafted one the past few years but I believe coaching/injuries had a lot to do with that and you don’t pass on a playmaker because you’ve missed on others.

is this devaney in disguise
RAMSALLTHEWAY - January 20, 2012 via mobile
NO
Just looking for potential playmakers. I don’t know much about the guy but I do know Bajama is probably gone, OhOh is always hurt, and there’s Kendricks. Just looking at options.

Packers and Finley are done
They drafted DJ Williams from Arkansas for a reason…..and a steal too….5th round…
RAMSALLTHEWAY - January 20, 2012 via mobile
The only tight end I would be ok with would be Dwyane Allen (TE Clemson)...
other than that I think we are fine with what we have. Alot of mocks dont have Allen past the first round.
jpcisco - January 20, 2012
Would he be worth it in the 2nd round if Floyd/Jeffery are gone?
jmo53 - January 20, 2012 via Android app
yea he would be in my opinion but he is the only tight end I would think about drafting period if I were the Rams
jpcisco - January 20, 2012
there's a couple people later on that could be considered
like Ladarius Green
Josh Wehrle - January 21, 2012
The pick @ #2 Has to be
Khalil….no one else is worth a number 2
JordansDad - January 20, 2012 via Android app
I think most would agree
Kalil at 2 or Blackmon at 4. My question in who would we pick if we traded with WAS or MIA?
jmo53 - January 20, 2012 via Android app
Reiff or Martin, OT.

RAMIFICATION - January 21, 2012
JUST SAY NO TO KALIL!!!
Besides being OT’s who were drafted in the Top 5 by their respective teams in the last five seasons, what do Levi Brown, Joe Thomas, Jason Smith, Jake Long and Trent Williams all have in common?
They’re teams still suck.
Justin Blackmon ALL DAY!
Ferragamo - January 21, 2012
All those teams had multiple holes to fill(hints the top 5 pick)
Are you saying if they had gone for a WR instead of OT they would be one of the better teams in the league by now? We need both but OT is more important than WR AND Kalil is better than Blackmon at their positions.
jmo53 - January 21, 2012 via Android app
none of those teams has a franchise QB
Josh Wehrle - January 21, 2012
Damn it….I forgot to proofread again : )

Receivers and Running Backs
You guys make me sick when you start talking about RB and WR when we have a crappy line and defense. Seriously, what is wrong with you? The best receiver in the draft is not going to catch shit with Bradford in 5 pieces on his back every other play. The D line needs a serious lineman and another LB and CB………….and after you get those start all over with the same formula. Duh!
Drew Spinoso - January 21, 2012
Youre cool...
RG31 - January 21, 2012 via mobile
Anyone think Jerry Jones would give us the farm for RGIII?
I read Romo could be gone after this season. There is still plenty of talent left at #14 imo. Someone like Decastro, Richardson, Kirkpatrick, Floyd, Jeffrey will probably fall there and we would have a bundle of picks to work on the other holes. This is the lowest I could see trading if the price is right.
jmo53 - January 21, 2012 via Android app
That Is An Interesting Scenario
What type of compensation pack do you think Jerry Jones would offer for RGIII? Do you think he would be willing to part with some young talent on The Dallas roster in addition to draft picks.? What about OLB Bruce Carter; The Dallas 2nd and 3rd round picks in 2012 and their 2nd in 2013?
ValdezY - January 21, 2012
I don't know much about Bruce Carter but
those picks(assuming #14 is included) and a good player at a position of need seems pretty fair to me.
