i feel like he is underrated,

he may not be a starter but i would feel a lot better with him as a backup, especially over aj, moore has a great football mind, as far as making decisions goes.

Wilson has him on arm strength, downfield accuracy, quick release and mobility. Moore’s got a limited ceiling but he’d probably remain a backup rather than get lured away with a promise to start.

How do we not need any recievers? If we resign Lloyd he will just be double teamed and coverage will be rolled his way. Amendola is good possession reciever but is good from 5-10 yards out. We need recievers badly. Pettis is terrible and salas is the same as Amendola.

What I have seen from watching Blackmon the past two years

1. He is not that fast, but he is strong and is quick
2. He plays bigger than he actually is
3. A little immature, but he has a serious passion for the game that you cannot teach
4. Knows he is good, and plays with confidence

Blackmon is a playmaker

Needs to work on run blocking and has trouble putting on weight. You cant have a 280lb who is 6’6. He has only put on 12 lbs since high school. And he doesn’t rank as high as long or joe Thomas. Don’t get me wrong he will be a good player but I honestly another tackle isn’t going to help our terrible recievers catch the ball

I wanted Julio because I thought Green was a lost cause

I really wanted him before the combine because he fit the style of offense we had under Shurmer, but then he blew up the combine and everyone wanted him.

Hell I remember before the combine it was hard to find a Rams fan who wanted to take him.

The problem with drafting a OT high...

is that a good offensive line is more about how they operate as a group and just because you nab an awesome LT doesn’t mean your entire unit will suddenly become better. Your positions out there on an island like WR or CB a legitimate play maker can make a game changing difference. At the top of a draft a team like the Rams needs to invest in a play maker.

I’d rather draft Blackmon or one of the DBs than Kali. Build the O line with solid FA signings and mid round draft picks.

Another thing to consider

If we do keep McD, Blackmon fits his offense more than Alshon and Floyd. McDaniels offense is similar to the spread offense and that’s what Blackmon plays in, we need playmakers and we can’t depend on high profile players to come here, when they most likely want to compete for Championships.
