Back Up RB Rumors - Reggie Bush?

With the Rams loading up on receiving firepower for Sam Bradford in the draft, that still left several voids on a Ram team that appears to be ready to take another step forward.

You can't really discredit the Rams because with all of the holes apparent, it would be impossible to fill them all with the draft alone.

One of the biggest needs that needs to be addressed sooner rather than later is backup RB. Steven Jackson needs some of the load taken off or his remaining years could be shortened.

Low and behold, yet another Rumor. The Who Dat Dish earlier this week claimed that Bush to the Rams is heating up. After the Saints signed Pierre Thomas, and drafted Ingram, Bush even tweeted goodbye to the Saints. Here's another piece in more detail.

With all that firepower in New Orleans, Bush seems like the odd man out.

Rumor has it (if anything happens) the Rams would get Bush plus a late round pick and give the Saints either a second or third round pick (assuming next years draft).

Would Bush be a good fit in St. Louis?

I know one thing, he can also catch the ball, and would certainly give a nice change up to Steven Jackson, one teams would have to respect.

Don't get too excited though if you're on the Bush train, other teams have also expressed interest: Dolphins, Steelers, Giants, Seahawks and Eagles.

I don't see the Giants interested unless they lose Bradshaw, and the Eagles already have a ton of firepower at the position. The Steelers? They typically don't build a team like this. That leaves the Phins, and Seahawks.

Let's see how it all plays out (hopefully all the lockout fiasco ends soon).

With Bush...

and 2 new G’s = Rams a Top 5, Lethal Offense.

Most I've give up is a 3rd rounder

in exchange for a 6th and Bush, take it or leave it

That would be pretty awesome! Lets hope the Rams go big.

You know the Seahawks will be trying to swing for the fences to get him and that kind of speed in the NFC west better be on the Rams.

Bush is a liar and a fraud, fuck him royally

and injury prone too. Anyone who had a Kardashian and lost it must be a pile of shit!

How can you call him injury prone when he works out like this

All kidding aside, he has had a history of injuries… In MHO too many for the Rams to even considerconsider giving up a 1st through 3rd round pick. I think there are too many other options in getting a running back to play behind Jackson.

Go Rams!

Yep, heavy sarcasm and picking

Go Rams, no Bush though, pwitty pweeze.

Best option

is to get a guard too give some running lanes. That’s what held our running game back. I don’t care how freaking bad a$$ you are, if your getting hit in the back field, your probably not gonna do to well. Great backs are great backs but it starts with an OLine or else your F-ED

Oh

I’d like bush but please add a run blocking guard also.

If he can't get the positions right with a broad like that, he is still Brain Injured!
Do you know how many times he must have pull a hamstring climbing on & off her ass?
make it happen devaney!
Rather have a dose of DeAngelo
Bush probably will go where he can win a ship faster....Eagles, Steelers cuz he won't win one without a good team
LMAO, REALLY?

Thanks for the heads up captain obvious! I dont think a “bad” team has ever won a championship. The Rams can be a championship team with a few more key pieces and another year or two under Bradford’s belt. If they add Bush to the backfield the Rams can be an offensive juggernaut. His speed would kill, I think he is a much better option than Sproles. Sproles is getting up their in age. Bush can contribute for 2-3 years alteast, at a pretty high level. Either way it goes I hope in Free Agency we can grab someone decent to keep SJAX fresh all year and take some of the beating. If we can land a decent RB and a few other key positions, we will be a force to be reckoned with!

+1

Bush would be my #1 choice as far as RB’s go. But I don’t see the Saint’s taking any less than a 2nd rounder, let alone even letting him go.

We may be thinking about this all wrong..

We know that Mcd will run the offense. He knows that there are problems on the OL. The team will try to fix those areas. It maybe a scheme adjustment, coaching or addition or movement of players. What ever it is our new OC will help to come up with a plan, have no fear. Help is on the way. Suprabowl will be here soon.

We do have the power, Go Rams !

Let the stupid be stupid still !!!
To all the people clammoring for a OG

McD really likes Greco. Don’t know if he is the choice for a starter, but that’s why the Rams don’t seem to be worrying about it. And if we could line SJax and Bush up in the backfield together in the McD offense, omg it would be awesome.
