So I had a graduation announcement left over, and figured what the hell, I'll send one to Sam Bradford. He responded! On the envelope it said that it was postmarked through Oklahoma City. It's a generic letter, except the end, where he congratulated me. Either way, it's awesome that he/his secretary did that. I'm impressed. Go Rams!!
thats pretty sick and congrats on graduating
i still have a couple more years to go
Buck Nasty87 - May 18, 2011
It seems Sam has a lot of class in areas other that the football field
It’s the fact that he set up an organization to respond to things like says a lot-
Knoxfan - May 18, 2011
damn
I shoulda done that, but I graduated in 09 so I don’t think Bulger would have responded lol. O well. Congrats dude, Sam is impressing me off-field and on.
kylew1 - May 18, 2011
well, Bulger would have tried to send it to you
but the letter would’ve been incomplete or intercepted.
sergey606 - May 18, 2011
hahaha
and the postman would have been pouched. (yeah- I know it’s a stretch, but I could’t say “sacked”)
Knoxfan - May 18, 2011
haha so many puns
he would’ve been hurried to write it, and force it on the mailman
sergey606 - May 18, 2011
I see what you done-hahaha
Knoxfan - May 18, 2011
Congrats man!
Very exciting, and what a great guy
RamBuck - May 18, 2011
Beaver fan .. LOL
Hell if I lived in Alaska a Beaver any beaver may look good …You seem like a good kid. Bless
Da Rookie - May 18, 2011
???
how did you find his address?
RAMpage87 - May 18, 2011
Good question
That’s really cool though. When I graduate college, I’ll send a letter to SJax to see if he replies.
ramswo85 - May 18, 2011
Sam's a class act, through and through
Douglas M - May 18, 2011
Thanks everyone, I appreciate it!
Hell, my dad was pretty impressed when I showed him the letter, and he can’t even remember what my favorite teams are half the time (even though there are reminders of Rams and Beavers EVERYWHERE).
I am very impressed with Sam, he’s a stud. I just sent the letter to the general Rams address, something like Attn: Sam Bradford, One Rams Way, St. Louis, MO; I guess they got it to him, cause it was sent back from OKC.
I honestly was next expecting it, so it was an awesome surprise last night.
sergey606 - May 18, 2011
Does Sam have any..
brothers/cousins/uncles that can play OLB, S, OG, RB, and/or DT?
mcihaelT - May 18, 2011
Congrats
I imagine Sam has a secretary or publicist that sorts through his fan mail and ensures everyone gets a response but the fact they took the time to mention your graduation is a nice touch. Sending a graduation announcement is unique enough that it would have been something Sam would have been made aware of. Is that an actual signature ora facsimile? If Sam takes the time to personally sign his correspondence that’s a classy touch. Generally most players will respond to their fan mail which surprises me.
Sggladden - May 18, 2011
it's a facsimile, but I'm happy regardless
one day I’ll get a real one…on mah jersey
sergey606 - May 18, 2011
Is Sam's desk his nifty ping pong table?
Eric Nagel - May 18, 2011
boom! someone said it!
sergey606 - May 18, 2011
I'm never going to let that one go
he’s 22 and a millionaire and all he buys is a ping pong table.
Eric Nagel - May 18, 2011
hey its all good in my eyes! in this day, and age where were seeing pro athletes going BANKRUPT!...
because they have to live by a certain code. live the rapper/thug life. no diamond studded necklace/bracelets are too much, if you dont have “at least” 18 cars? tricked out? your nothing! mansion (s), women, jewelry, it all sounds good…for a little while. thats why i see sam as the anti-athlete. as in, he seems like the type of guy that wouldnt go stupid with his money. seems like a concervative dude. pacman jones, and the rest of those knotheads, should take a page out of sam.
Mark Jaramillo - May 18, 2011
I agree, completely.
sergey606 - May 18, 2011
Me too BUT-
I would just love to have done all that crap THEN gone bankrupt. I’ve never had the money to buy the book to take a page out of. I was so poor I got married just for the Rice!
Knoxfan - May 18, 2011
Just for the rice
you crack me up
Eric Nagel - May 18, 2011
LMAO
Infemous - May 19, 2011
78 million dollars
biggest expense: Ping Pong Table
you don’t need to have a doctorate in Economics to realize he has a little spending money.
All I’m saying is…Bradford…buy a Ferrari, or a Bentley, or both. You can still save the other 77 million you will have left.
Eric Nagel - May 18, 2011
only 50 is guaranteed though, right?
I’m sure he’s bought a house or something, but he probably doesn’t want to come off as that guys that signs the biggest contract in history and immediately blows a chunk of it on unnecessary things i.e. makin it rain on dem hoes.
sergey606 - May 18, 2011
or buying round after round of the "purple drank" for his homies!!
Mark Jaramillo - May 18, 2011
Naw-you buy them the cheap shit-keep that good Ripple wine for yourself
Knoxfan - May 20, 2011
Steel Reserve. 'nuff said :)
sergey606 - May 20, 2011
What the hell...
He sent me the exact same letter…And I didn’t graduate from the Univ of Alaska.
For the record Serg, I am also a fan of the Rams and Beavers (maybe a different Beaver than the one you support though).
Cheers
CaliRamMan - May 18, 2011
Is that a real signature?
Jombari - May 18, 2011
it's a facsimile
sergey606 - May 18, 2011
Congrats on your graduation
them responding to you is fun, too.
CoachConnors - May 18, 2011
thanks!
I’m still waiting on the expensive piece of paper that says I’m smart, should be in the mail this summer.
sergey606 - May 19, 2011
What's his adress?
I’m sending him one if I can
zaviex - May 18, 2011
