Rams owner Chip Rosenbloom gave fans their Christmas present early, send Jay Zygmunt packing and announcing a freeze in ticket prices for the 2009 season. They'll even start some renovations the building soon too. If only they can do something about the music...
But wait, it gets better. It's just been announced that team president John Shaw has stepped down and Billy Devaney has officially been made general manager. Huzzah! The holiday season just got a little brighter. These were the first moves required for the Rams to start turning their fortunes around, getting better, more committed from the top down. Next: the coaching staff.
Baring breaking developments, I'm going to be out of pocket until Friday. So, despite another terrible year for the Rams, have a great holiday.
Cheers!
